We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Partnership and Community Lead to join our team. In this role, you will build and nurture relationships with diverse stakeholders, including community organizations, policymakers, and advocacy groups. You will be instrumental in amplifying the voices of refugees and migrants, ensuring they have a seat at the table in decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Organizational/Project Work:
Ensure smooth internal functioning, including HR, administration, and logistics.
Oversee project coordination, aligning with the organization's mission.
Design and develop programs promoting our mission and vision.
Support strategic planning with the CEO and team.
Communication within the Staff Team:
Lead team meetings, take notes, assign tasks, and update calendars.
Manage internal communication channels (Slack, email, Google Calendar, Drive).
Ensure proper documentation and information exchange within the team.
Partnership and Community Management:
Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships:
Cultivate and manage relationships with partners, funders, and stakeholders.
Represent the organization at external events and public speaking engagements.
Volunteer Management:
Update and manage the volunteer database.
Ensure regular communication and task updates for volunteers.
Develop and Implement Strategies: Design and execute strategies for community engagement and partnership development aligned with our organizational goals.
Foster Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and advocacy groups to enhance collaborative efforts.
Promote Inclusivity: Champion intersectional feminism, anti-racism, and human rights principles in all community and partnership activities.
Lead Engagement Initiatives: Coordinate and lead initiatives that promote the rights and inclusion of refugees and migrants.
Communication and Advocacy: Articulate our mission and values effectively to diverse audiences through various communication channels.
Qualifications:
Experience: 5-8 years of proven experience in community engagement, partnership development, or advocacy work.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of intersectional feminism, anti-racism, and human rights principles.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse communities and stakeholders.
Passion: Deep commitment to promoting the rights and inclusion of refugees and migrants.
