Survey announcement!

New Women Connectors, alongside other feminist and refugee-led organisations, launched a survey to gather lived experiences, document impact and mobilise action. 

Feminist, women-led, and HIV-focused movements—especially those driven by displaced, racialized, and marginalized communities—have long been at the forefront of dismantling colonial and systemic oppression.  Yet, in just six weeks into the new year, the struggle for human rights and social justice has reached a breaking point.

Global policies are shifting in ways that deepen inequality. The U.S. Executive Order on foreign aid and Europe’s tightening asylum laws are not just bureaucratic changes—they are direct threats to essential services, funding, and legal protections. These policies disproportionately affect grassroots and community-led organizations, silencing those who have already been pushed to the margins.

We refuse to be erased. We are not powerless. We are not voiceless.

Filling out the survey takes a few minutes, and your responses will help us understand which communities have been affected by these aid cuts, restrictive policies and atmosphere of hostility against displaced and racialised groups and organisations. This will allow us to coordinate responses and shape advocacy efforts.
