We represent a missing connection between new communities and old institutions, strengthening democratic participation and accountability in Europe. We believe that the absence of certain voices in critical policy dialogues undermines the efficacy of decisions across a range of topics.

That's why we create platforms where those policy-making connect with new communities and engage in an open dialogue on democratic governance and civic engagement.

our approaches

meaningful participation

Meaningful participation is an approach where we help create inclusive mechanisms of engagement and involvement of people with lived experiences in decision making, which inherently transforms power structures to promote inclusion and empowerment. This approach encourages participation, responsibility and accountability, - whether in the decisions-making, in the delivery of solutions, or policy codesign. This approach and methodology can be used by Municipalities, EU institutions, NGOs, or any stakeholder making decisions that impact people’s lives.

LEading resilience

Leading Resilience is about empowering community leaders from diverse and marginalized backgrounds to effectively participate in and influence the policymaking process. This approach emphasizes the development of skills and provision of platforms necessary for these leaders to articulate their needs and solutions, thereby transforming narratives and challenging existing power structures.

feminist leadership

This approach is based on challenging patriarchal norms, dismantling gender-based inequalities, and amplifying the voices of marginalized individuals. It ultimately promotes a more equitable and inclusive policy-making process. Our commitment to feminist ideals in policy making underscores our dedication to equitable policy formulation that considers the unique experiences and perspectives of marginalized groups.

our tools

We provide training to different stakeholders, in order to increase meaningful participation. We train migrant communities to increase their capacities in advocacy, storytelling, public speaking and representation.We also train policy makers such as local municipalities on meaningful participation and inclusion.

co-creation platforms

We convene both virtual and physical events to connect multiple stakeholders and enhance the conversation about meaningful participation, leading resilience and intersectional feminist leadership

coalition building & partnerships
