In the face of rising xenophobic sentiments and restrictive policies across Europe, supporting feminist refugee and migrant organizations has never been more critical. Your support ensures that marginalized individuals and communities can meaningfully participate in policy discussions, bringing firsthand perspectives to shape a more just and equitable society for all.​
We represent a missing connection between new communities and old institutions, strengthening democratic participation and accountability in Europe. We believe that the absence of underrepresented voices in critical policy dialogues undermines the efficacy of decisions across a range of topics. That's why we are building an ecosystem where stakeholders driving policies can connect with new communities and engage in constructive dialogues on democratic governance and civic engagement.
Impact
Since its establishment in 2019 by Anila Noor, a Pakistani political refugee, NWC has worked globally with a diverse range of stakeholders in the migration, displacement and climate action fields. We have consistently demonstrated our capacity to advance meaningful participation methodologies within government ministries, municipalities, international NGOs, refugee-led civil society, and more , both online and in person, in 8 languages.
